Unlike gelatin capsules, which are derived from animal collagen, HPMC capsules are suitable for vegetarian and vegan consumers. They are widely used in pharmaceuticals, dietary supplements, and herbal products as an alternative to gelatin capsules, particularly for vegetarian or vegan formulations.
