Physical properties
1. Appearance: HEMC is white or almost white fibrous or granular powder; odorless.
2. Solubility: The HEMC can dissolve in cold water .
3. Apparent density: 0.30-0.60g/m3.
4. MHEC has the characteristics of thickening, suspension, dispersion, adhesion, emulsification, film formation, and water retention. Its water retention is stronger than that of methyl cellulose, and its viscosity stability, anti-fungal and dispersibility are stronger.

Methyl Hydroxyethyl Cellulose(MHEC) is non-ionic high molecular polymer, it is white or almost white powder. It is soluble in cold water but insoluble in hot water. The solution exhibits strong pseudoplasticity and provides higher shear. Viscosity. HEMC is mainly used as an adhesive, protective colloid, thickener and stabilizer, and emulsifying additive.

Application Field

1.Cement-based plaster
1) Improve uniformity, make it easier for cloth rags to sag, and at the same time improve flow resistance. Enhance fluidity and pumpability, thereby improving work efficiency.
2) High water retention, extend the working time of the mortar, improve work efficiency, and help the mortar to form high mechanical strength during the opening period.
3) Control the infiltration of air, thereby destroying the micro-cracks of the coating and forming an ideal surface.

2.Gypsum plaster and gypsum products
1.)To improve the uniformity, it is easier to increase the efficiency of the cloth slurry, and at the same time, the anti-flow enhances the fluidity and pumpability. Thereby improving work efficiency.
2.) High water retention, the working time of suspension mortar, and high mechanical strength in spoken language.
3.) By controlling the uniformity of the mortar, a high-quality surface coating is formed.

3.Masonry mortar

4. Joint filler

5.Tile Adhesive

6.Self-leveling floor materials

7.Water-based paint and paint remover
